Women in insolvency lunch raises £4k for charity

R3 ladies' lunch 2015

A lunch in Manchester organised by women in the insolvency profession has raised £3,950 for charity.

Around 300 people attended the R3 Ladies’ Lunch at the Lowry Hotel, where the theme was ‘Pink Ladies’ from the musical Grease. The annual event is organised by female members of R3, the trade body for insolvency professionals. The money will go to Mancunian Way, a charity which helps to promote personal responsibility in young people in and around Manchester.

The arrangements were led by Elizabeth Boyes and Claire Dwyer, former Chair and Vice-Chair of the R3 Ladies’ Committee. Fran Henshaw, the incoming Chair, said: “The R3 Ladies’ Lunch is always one of the highlights of the calendar for the financial community but this year’s was the most successful to date, judging by the amount raised.”
